In this serie, color takes center stage. The gloomy atmosphere surrounding the pandemic propelled me into this serie, which is all about light and hope, to share and lighten the journey for everyone. Color has become the subject of this serie. Inspired by tangled branches, I had fun layering colors, shades, and tones.  Lines and colors come to life and stimulate the eye. I create color combinations through accumulation, saturation, layering, and random juxtaposition. This creates patterns of light and shadow, where one can see the light filtering through the forest or reflecting off the water.
