Three fundamental questions guide my thinking: where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going? For me, art is a privileged vehicle for exploring these existential questions, observing the links between human beings and sounding out their relationship with nature.

In recent years, my work has been particularly inspired by the forest and its tangle of branches, a metaphor for the invisible connections that bind us together as individuals and as a society. I seek to make these interconnections visible, to express the complexity and harmony of the living world. Through the superimposition of shapes, lines and textures, I convey the richness of these natural and human networks.

My creative process begins with observing and collecting images during my walks in the forest or in public places. I photograph fragments of nature, the play of light filtering through foliage, moving reflections on water. These images then become a working base that I manipulate digitally, transforming and redrawing certain parts to extract a new composition. Once transposed onto canvas, they serve as a structure for my pictorial exploration.

I use acrylic in thin layers of wash, creating a gradual depth through the overlapping of layers. This technique allows me to play with light and transparency, evoking the sensation of a landscape in perpetual transformation. The alternation between saturated areas and diaphanous spaces generates a vibration, a visual musicality that invites the viewer to engage in active contemplation.

My intention is to awaken a dialogue, a reflection on our intimate link with living things, on the place we occupy and the impact we leave. Through this approach, I seek to capture the essence of a world in perpetual transformation, where nature and humanity intertwine in a fragile balance.

Ultimately, my artistic approach aims to awaken a sensitive consciousness of living things. Through my work, I seek to capture the fragile alchemy between strength and fragility, chaos and balance, nature and humanity.

Artist statement I’ve always been driven by a quest for meaning, a desire to understand our place in the universe.
